- (4) During the baking process, under the condition of single-sided heating, the volatiles of coal tar pitch produce reverse migration, pyrolytic carbon is generated in the pores of the matrix at the working hot end and fills the pores, making the brick body “self” dense.
- (5) It can absorb the temperature stress generated when the furnace lining is heated, and alleviate the damage of thermal stress to the furnace lining.
- (6) Under the catalytic action of high-temperature slag iron and other media in the furnace, a heterogeneous graphitization transformation is produced. The thermal conductivity and chemical corrosion resistance of the furnace lining are improved, and the 1150℃ molten iron solidification isotherm is migrated into the furnace.
