Rongsheng Silicon Carbide Mullite Brick has a dense structure, high-temperature compressive strength and high-temperature structural strength, and good thermal shock stability. Silicon Carbide Mullite Bricks produced by Rongsheng Refractory Bricks Manufacturer uses neutral high alumina clinker and silicon carbide as the main materials and adds imported andalusite for production. It has a low apparent porosity. It can continuously form a protective layer during use, has good wear resistance, and has strong anti-stripping properties.

Advantages and Features of Silicon Carbide Mullite Bricks
Rongsheng Silicon Carbide Mullite Brick is suitable for the transition zone of cement kilns, just like magnesium-aluminum spinel bricks. Compared with magnesium-aluminum spinel bricks, Rongsheng Silicon Carbide Mullite Bricks have a higher cost-effectiveness. The erosion of chlorine-alkali components and poor thermal shock stability are the main reasons for the damage to refractory bricks in the transition zone. Rongsheng Silicon Carbide Mullite Brick takes a unique approach, using neutral high-alumina bauxite clinker and silicon carbide as the main materials, and adding imported andalusite for production, which has a lower apparent porosity. At the same time, the alkali-sulfur erosion of lining bricks is reduced by utilizing the large infiltration angle between cement materials and alkali-sulfur components and silicon carbide, which is not easy to infiltrate. The andalusite in the product produces an irreversible micro-expansion effect during secondary mullite in the cement kiln. The product will not shrink when it is cooled, offsetting the shrinkage stress and preventing structural spalling.
The thermal conductivity of Rongsheng Silicon Carbide Mullite Bricks is relatively low. Under the same conditions, the cylinder temperature of the part where silicon carbide bricks are used is relatively low. Therefore, under the social development trend of increasing emphasis on energy conservation and environmental protection, Silicon Carbide Mullite Bricks are increasingly used in cement rotary kilns.
Compared with magnesia-alumina spinel bricks, Silicon Carbide Mullite Bricks have the advantages of low thermal conductivity, good thermal shock stability, and high-cost performance. Compared with Silicon Carbide Mullite Bricks, magnesia-alumina spinel bricks have the advantages of stronger corrosion resistance and the disadvantage of high thermal conductivity. In the rotary kiln with a garbage treatment system, magnesia-alumina spinel bricks have better resistance to alkali-sulfur corrosion.
Application of Silicon Carbide Mullite Brick
Rongsheng Silicon Carbide Mullite Brick is mainly used in the transition zone, preheating zone, tertiary air duct, five-stage preheater, and lime kiln unloading chute of cement rotary kiln.
Generally, the transition zone of a cement kiln is divided into two sections, upper transition zone and lower transition zone. The part close to the preheating zone is generally called the upper transition zone, and the part close to the kiln mouth is called the lower transition zone. In the upper transition zone, 1650 Silicon Carbide Mullite Brick is generally used. In the lower transition zone and kiln mouth, due to the high temperature and severe wear and erosion, only magnesium aluminum spinel bricks or 1680 Silicon Carbide Mullite Brick can be used. Due to the high temperature in this area, the service life of refractory materials used in the transition zone is generally about 12 months. 1550 Silicon Carbide Mullite Brick is suitable for the tertiary air duct with high wind speed and severe erosion in cement production lines, decomposition furnaces with severe material erosion, and four or five-stage preheaters that are prone to crusting.
