Classification of Carbonaceous Refractories
A material composed of a combination of a carbon material and a refractory material is called a carbonaceous refractory material, and its main components are refractory oxides, carbides, and flaky graphite.
Carbon refractories can be divided into two categories: ceramic bond type and carbon bond type.
From the chemical composition of carbonaceous refractories, it is mainly divided into magnesia carbon brick, magnesium calcium carbon refractory material, aluminum carbon refractory material, etc.;
From the use of carbonaceous refractories, it is mainly divided into ramming materials, plastics, castables, vibrating materials, and the like.
From the use, it can be mainly used as a carbonaceous refractory material for blast furnace bottom, furnace wall, tuyere and tapping hook.
