What are the Requirements for the Refractory Material Used in the Continuous Casting System?
(1) The refractory materials used in the continuous casting system are made of aluminum carbon refractory materials.
Mainly made of corundum and graphite as raw materials, resin combined with isostatic pressing, firing in a reducing atmosphere, finishing on a lathe, and applying an anti-oxidation layer.
(2) The characteristics of aluminum carbonaceous materials are strong adaptability to steel grades, especially suitable for casting special steels, and no pollution to molten steel.
(3) For the key parts of the slag line and gate of the immersion nozzle, a layer of corrosion-resistant, erosion-resistant zirconium carbon refractory material can be combined to improve the life of the immersion nozzle.
