In the production of refractory ceramic fiber papers, refractory cotton with different classification temperatures, such as ordinary type, high purity type, high aluminum type, zirconium-containing type, etc., is used as the main raw material. Appropriately matched to form the main structural fibers of different grades with use temperatures (℃) of 600, 800, 1000, 1100, 1200, etc. First, use pulping equipment such as a pulping machine or a deflaker to prepare a slurry with uniform dispersion of refractory fibers, and use a centrifuge and sedimentation method to remove most of the slag balls in the refractory fibers. Then send it to the batching tank, add a binder and auxiliary agent (dispersant thickener, retention agent, fixative, enhancer, defoamer, etc.) mainly composed of water-soluble acrylic acid, and mix it with water to form a slurry of a certain concentration. The slurry concentration depends on the specifications of the products to be produced, generally 0.3%~1.0%. The slurry is usually dehydrated by wet-method oblique long net forming, and formed into wet paper sheets by vacuum suction or mechanical pressing, and then enters the drying system for drying. The slurry can also be free of or with little binder added, and the binder can be evenly spread on the wet paper through the sizing device. This process is called external sizing. The former is called internal sizing.
